El cepillo es largo y flexible, llega fácilmente a las curvas de la tubería y logra extraer el cabello y la suciedad del fregadero y el desagüe de la ducha. Las cerdas limpian sin rayar la tubería y, después de su uso, se enjuaga fácilmente. No hace milagros en obstrucciones muy antiguas o llenas de cal, pero para el mantenimiento periódico de desagües es conveniente y económico.
